Description
Design
I love making natural top artisan keycaps as they are extremely unique. I’ve always been fascinated with geodes, so chalcedony seemed like the next logical choice! You can read more about what chalcedony is here.
I decided to use black Chalcedony and Brass which creates an extremely classy and almost edgy look. Highly polished sides give you a window into the beautiful crystals. These keycaps have some of the most unique textures and I find myself fiddling with them all the time, each one has its own “scene” with hills, valleys, mountains, and even caves filled with rainbows. It becomes my job to turn the natural stone into a one-of-a-kind piece of art.
New Items in Packaging
I have been slowly improving the packaging for my products! Alongside your artisan keycap, I will include a polishing cloth for removing tarnish, (if you want… a natural patina can be very pretty and I don’t believe in coating metal so that way you can have options, also polishing the metal is extremely satisfying) and 85-gram spirit design springs in case you want to mod your switch to accept the heavier artisan. (nobody has ever had an issue before with weight but just in case 🙂
Profile
Each stone used Is hand-cut and 100% unique matching no specific keycap profile. The base is square and has only slightly angled walls. The height of this specific artisan is 12mm-20mm from the lowest point to the highest.
If you want to check how this will compare to the height of your keycap set check out this handy graph found on the Keeblog here scroll down to find the handy graph or at this link https://www.keycaps.info/
