Design
For this Artisan I really wanted to show off the layers of the fordite, this was my first time using the material so It was a learning process. There are beautiful sparkles in some layers of the paint which are super neat. The Artisan Is also much lighter due to it not being stone. 
What is Fordite?
Fordite, also known as Detroit agate or Motor City agate,[1] is old automotive paint that has hardened sufficiently to be cut and polished.[2] It was formed from the buildup of layers of enamel paint slag on tracks and skids on which cars were hand spray-painted (a now automated process), which have been baked numerous times.[3] In recent times the material has been recycled into jewelry.[4]
Profile
The stone used Is hand-cut and 100% unique. The Artisan matches no specific keycap profile. The base is square and has only slightly angled walls.
